Life in the Fast Lane

Well nothing too new to report. We had a fairly good March. Of course when you live in Hinton, you can get all four seasons in just one day. Yesterday I think we had temperatures reach plus 16 then today we have snow on the ground! Can be very disheartening, and you would think I would be used to it by now, but at this point, we just can't wait until summer!

Mickial had his first school concert. He sang with his class. Very cute. Of course he was looking for us in the crowd, but the lights were dim, so I stand up and try and wave and get his attention (acting as though I'm the only mother in the auditorium with a kid on stage) while Derek is telling me to sit down! Pleeeease!

Seth is doing better in school. He actually sat for 30 mins to do a craft, which is amazing for him. He told me the other day "not to boss dad around, for he is the boss of himself, because he is an adult" so yes I was put in my place by my four year old. Some days I sound like a drill sergent, so sometimes I pass that onto Derek unintentionally.

Talen is talking up a storm and loves the word "mine!" He definately knows what survival of the fittest means. He just loves to drum, so one day he might be the next "christain" Tommy Lee (from motley crue)

Hudson is growing up a storm. He just loves to smile, and laugh. He is very wiggly and squirmy and such a joy. He is a good sleeper to, will sleep sometimes 9-10 hours a night. Thank you Huddy!

Derek and I are doing well. All of Derek's projects are slowly getting done so freeing him up.

Well that is about it. Would love to hear all your comments

Spring cont...

Here are the pics of the boys riding their bikes. I didn't get a pic, but next time I will.

Whenever Seth got stuck on his bike, Talen would go over and give him a push. Very cute! Then he would clap his hands and say "yeah sethy" in Talen's way of saying that phrase. The last pic is of Seth.

Spring is here!

It is so nice to see the sun,the snow melting, the smell of dog crap hmmm... spring is here. Yes I know that we still could get another dump of snow, but I am still going to enjoy it now.

Mickial learned to ride a two-wheeler today. He was so excited. I was so proud of him. As a parent, you swell up inside when you see something trigger inside your child, like a flash of light all of a sudden go inside their head. THat's what happened with Mickial when he realized that he could ride his bike.

Ok, enough of the sappy stuff. Here are some cool spring pics and random family pic.

Mickial had his sixth b-day also, in which he had a sleep over. So I have included a tent pic of all the boys.
